Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with a highly reputable organised based in Glasgow who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a permanent full-time basis.

This role is to work with the wider finance team and will undertake payroll and accounts duties. My client is offering hybrid working (2 days at home and 3 days in the office, generous holidays and many benefits. The hours are 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch.

The main duties:

Process end to end a monthly payroll
Process starters, leavers and any changes
Checking timesheets to see how many hours employees worked
Resolving issues employees have with timesheets
Calculating correct employee pay by considering hours worked, overtime rates, taxes, national insurance payments and other factors
PAYE/NI/Pension returns, payments and reconciliation's
Distributing forms such as P45, P60 and P11d
Processing PAYE deductions and sending payroll information to HM Revenue and Customs
Operate and control cashbook
Daily bank reconciliations
Online banking
Update cashflow forecast
Manage online expenses system and payments
Credit card control
