Our Client


Seeking an Accessories Designer with 3 years experience within the industry and have a good awareness of trends and new concepts.

You will have the ability to work in a high paced environment to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects and have the flexibility to travel.


Key duties:


  • Have an excellent understanding of what fabrications will work in product development
  • Building relationships with factories and to be aware of their capabilities
  • Have a good idea of all techniques that are used and can be used
  • Innovate with new product concepts, print trends and fabrications
  • Reactive to trends
  • Work to strict deadlines, to ensure all designs and design specs are completed accurately
  • Have a clear knowledge of the design direction for the company
  • Confident and clear when presenting ranges to management in sign off meetings
  • Have a good knowledge about the process of product development from designing the product the product going into store
  • Be a problem solver. Find issues immediately informing management with solutions
  • Be able to give clear direction to other team members when delegating work
  • Manage your samples and keep on top of the critical path
  • Speccing up designs and sending them to the Far East suppliers
  • Sourcing new fabrics/ trims

Skills required

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working within an accessories design position
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office, photoshop and illustrator
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Extensive experience of working with the far east of similar supplier bases
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to multiple deadlines
  • To be motivated and develop innovative products
  • Ability to work in a highpaced environment to tight deadlines, as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously
