Responsibilities:
- Quality checking machined items to drawings using Vernier's and other measuring equipment
- Deburring machined items with hand deburring tools to a high level of quality
- Using hand power tools such as drills & hand routers
- Cutting nested parts out with Stanley Knife
- Using a Tapping arm and fitting inserts
- Operating Cross cut saw
- Operating Band saw
- Following the ISO process at all times
- Recycling off cuts of material
- Keeping work area clean and tidy
- Button pushing production machines when set up by others
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong decision making and time management skills
- Excellent numerical skills
- Health & Safety awareness
- FLT counterbalance licence (not essential)
- Experience working in a production / manufacturing environment (not essential)
- Ability to be flexible and learn new skills
- Basic IT skills

Hours: 07: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
Salary:
Up to £27,000.00 per year
