Audit & Accounts Senior for a well-established chartered accountancy practice

The role will include:

  • The preparation of financial statements
  • Plan, direct, oversee and lead onsite audits for SME's
  • Submit audit reports and present findings
  • Assisting with planning, fieldwork and completion of audit assignments
  • Supervision and development of junior staff including delegation
  • Risk and control assessments
  • Building & maintaining client relationships at high levels
  • 50:50 split between audit and accounts work
  • Involve a small amount of travel to clients across the country
  • Client portfolio is very diverse where turnover range is between £3m and £40m
  • ACA or ACCA (qualified or partqualified)
  • Experience in a practice with several years on audit assignments including planning & finalisation
  • IFRS, Charity & FCA experience is beneficial but not essential
Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 (dep. on experience / level)

Hours - 9am - 5:30pm Mon-Fri

Other - some flexibility (hybrid), medical package, life assurance and progression
