About the Role

Contract Type:
Full Time, Permanent


Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm


Salary:
Dependent on experience

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a wide variety of activities for the children that is suitable to their individual stages of development.
  • Ensuring that child records on Tapestry are kept up to date.
  • Building relationships with the parents to build communication between home and preschool for the child.
  • Ensuring the provision of a highquality environment to meet the needs of individual children regardless of any disabilities, family backgrounds, or medial history.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • NVQ Level
  • A teaching assistant qualification or the equivalent gained through experience.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience of working with children aged 2+, preferably within an education context.

Personal Qualities

We are also looking for someone who is:

  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Genuinely enthusiastic about working with children.
  • Able to strike a good professional rapport with children, staff, and children.
  • A positive role model.
  • Flexible to the needs of the students.
