Are you looking for a new opportunity, with a 12 month FTC, and opportunity for longer term?
If so, we are excited to be supporting a long term client with a new role in their Facilities Team.
Paying a salary of 23kpa.
Role:
- Mailroom:
- Mail retrieval
- Print letters, brochures, packs, new client info on receipt of requests from all branches.
- Fulfil and despatch mail
- Daily deposits of cheques to relevant banks for any bank related queries.
- Manual handling work to help conduct office churns, relocating furniture such as pedestals, chairs, desks, and storage units. Dismantling and building furniture, supplying Staff name plates, and updating floor plans.
- Setting up meeting rooms multiple times daily in various styles such as theatre, boardroom, default and providing equipment on request such as flipcharts.
- Support Events out of office hours.
- Knowledge of archive system and process, able to archive new items and recall archives as requested ensuring accurate records are maintained throughout. Able to physically collect/deliver archive boxes around the office.
- Manage Vendors onsite ensuring new vendors are inducted properly, tasks are completed to specification and sign process followed.
- Building checks performed daily taking corrective action immediately where an issue is identified such as moving furniture back into place.
- Recording vendor SLA failure on the appropriate log and escalating to management
- Keeping accurate record of volumes and SLA's, performance, inputting the data onto the MI sheet.
- Undertake the training and perform at least one of the following roles; Display Screen Assessor, First Aider, Fire Warden or Health & Safety Office Representative.

- Support the delivery of the tasks highlighted in the P&FM Sustainability Road map.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Highly customer focussed, able to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
- Ability to multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
- Managing and delivering change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
- Keen to develop with a willingness and ability to learn.
- Ability to adhere to strict timescales in a busy and demanding environment.
- Previous experience working within Facilities environment.
- Experience in delivering a consistently high level of customer service.
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent Communication skills both written & verbal.
- Physically able to lift/carry loads occasionally of up to 25kg.
- Flexible to work overtime and/or weekends as required.
