At Pivot we believe children deserve better.

In our academies we teach and support children and young people from Key Stages - 5 who have been excluded from school, for whom mainstream education is simply not working, or those with an EHCP who require a specialist placement.

Every day our teams do incredible work, making a huge difference to some of the most complex and challenging children, many of whom come to us with traumatic backgrounds.

The Pivot Outreach Programme is a new and growing provision which aims to re-engage learners with social, emotional and mental health needs who may have been out of education for some time.

Within POP, learners are provided with both academic and pastoral activities, delivered off site, at pupils homes and at times within the POP hub.

Due to our growth, we are currently seeking a support member of staff to join the POP team.

As a POP Worker, you will co-ordinate and address the barriers to learning for individual pupils in order to enable them to make progress according to their learning pathways.

Working with other support and teaching staff, you will offer personalised individual strategies and support to help with developing independent living skills, academic progress and social, emotional and mental health needs in order to engage with the learning offer.

Experience of working with learners with SEMH needs is essential to the role, as is the ability to drive with access to a car.

Working at Pivot will give you a real chance to change our student's lives and we truly believe you will find working here a rewarding experience.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to make a difference to learners who are not accessing education full-time.
