    Description

    Group SEO Specialist

    We are seeking an experienced Group SEO Specialist to lead and innovate our SEO strategies as part of an internal marketing function. This role will involve off-boarding SEO accounts from agency and bringing them in-house, working on multiple aspects of SEO including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • SEO Strategy Development: Create and implement tailored SEO strategies for multiple companies within the group.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
    • On-Page SEO: Optimise website content, metadata, and internal linking structures.
    • Technical SEO: Conduct regular site audits to identify and fix technical issues such as crawl errors and page speed.
    • Keyword Research & Content Optimisation: Perform keyword research using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner.
    • Link-Building & Outreach: Develop and execute off-page strategies, including link-building campaigns and partnerships.
    • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor SEO strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.

    Requirements:

    • Experience & Education: 2+ years of SEO experience, ideally in a multi-site, agency, or multi-business environment. A degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
    • Technical Skills: Proficient in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console. Strong understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
    • Attributes: Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to adapt strategies for different industries and markets.

    About the Role:

    This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse group of companies with unique challenges and goals. You will be part of a collaborative and dynamic marketing team driving growth and innovation. The salary for this role is up to £35k + bonus, and you will be based in Preston, working mostly remotely, with one day a week in the office.
