Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a National Charity in the recruitment of a Part Time Purchase Ledger working 20 hours per week (3 days) on a 6 month contract, covering a maternity leave.


As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for invoices, petty cash claims and staff expenses, as well as other regular payments and the purchase ledger payment runs.

Supporting the Finance Manager, key duties and responsibilities include;

  • Checking and posting all invoices
  • Scheduling regular payments
  • Importing purchase ledger payment runs from the accounts system
  • Collating paperwork for payment authorisation
  • Sending out remittances
  • Processing and posting all bank payments
