We are looking for an eager to learn, well organised and efficient Finance Assistant with solid administrative and finance skills, who will slip into our close-knit team and help maintain the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance team.

Role Purpose
x Log bank payments and receipts in different currencies

x Reconcile bank accounts in different currencies

x Complete supplier onboardings

x Chase for Purchase orders/billing information from customers

x Update support invoices in Synolo (inhouse software - full training on new systems will be given)

x Create accounts and link to customers in payment portals

x Complete & verify banking details for customers

x Provide invoicing information when requested

x Assist with customer invoices uploading

x Assist with credit control

x Administer corporate cards transactions

x Manage the accounts inbox

x Assist with collecting and reviewing data for reports

x To provide cover for other accounts team roles during their absence

x Assist with any other duties to meet Finance targets and deadlines.

x Ability to work systematically according to set processes, keen to diversify skills and ambition to learn additional skills as the role evolves.


x Highly organised, with great attention to detail and time management skills with, the ability to manage your workload effectively and multitask as required.

x Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills,

x Having awareness of areas of confidentiality and acting accordingly.


x A team player who is comfortable working in a close-knit team and building strong professional relationships internally and with our clients, but with the ability to work independently.

x Able to deal promptly, pleasantly and patiently with all enquiries and requests.


Experience
You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience of the following:
x Good knowledge of accounting & bookkeeping procedures.

x Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel and Outlook.


The following is also desirable for this role:
x Previous experience in an Accounts environment including, purchase ledger, sales ledger, Reconciliations & credit control

x Experience with Intuit - QuickBooks would be an added advantage


Education
x AAT student or equivalent qualification in bookkeeping/financial administration or qualified by experience.
