Role Objective


Here at Howden Group Holdings, we are expanding our Business & People Analytics team to reflect the critical nature of our data to our expanding HR department and the fast-paced, international company it is part of.


The Co-ordinator, Business & People Analytics will work on key initiatives to help us ensure that our data is accurate, relevant and able to provide the business with key people insights.


The purpose of this role is to support the Howden Group Holdings people and commercial agendas by working with the rest of the Business & People Analytics team to provide a view of our talent by maintaining people systems and being an expert in reporting from them, and delivering ad hoc analysis to support specific initiatives.

Role Summary


The Co-ordinator, Business & People Analytics will work with the Business & People Analytics team and with the wider Howden HR teams, including HR Operations and HRIS.

In a typical week, this person would spend about:

  • 40% of their time supporting Workday processes and use including managing all reporting requests including BAU and project support
  • 40% of time helping key Workday users audit their data and maintain data integrity in the systems
  • 20% of time delivering ad-hoc analysis by reporting from systems and maintaining and implementing other analytical tools across HR


This is an opportunity to continue and help the development of a new role and team in a critical area of the business - gaining broad exposure to the Howden HR and broader Howden Group Holdings stakeholders, the global systems teams, with many learning opportunities for a team player that is hardworking and motivated.

Key responsibilities and Activities- Support effective use of Workday across the HR population and wider by:

  • Maintaining data to ensure system and data integrity and consistency-
  • Maintaining existing reports and dashboards-
  • Creating new reports and dashboards for users based on business needs-
  • Locating and fixing errors in reports/dashboards across the platform-
  • Support the creation and maintenance of relevant data structures and plans within the Workday system and run end-to-end testing.-
  • Work with the HRIS team to develop appropriate Workday and other systems' training for HR and the wider business as needed-
  • Support with semi-annual Workday releases-
  • Support data integration into Workday by leading on our people data collection:
  • Coordinate collation of a global master people data repository-
  • Devise and implement plans to improve processes and drive timely and quality data collection-
  • Working with wider HR and the business to identify potential interim solutions-
  • Monitor data to ensure integrity and consistency and identify measures to address any gaps by:
  • Working with HR colleagues to arrange and perform regular data audits and cleaning-
  • Ensure all the data complies with legal requirements-
  • Help users outside of HR monitor, audit and maintain their data in the systems-
  • Support on preparation of regulatory reporting to governance bodies

  • Designing, developing, implementing a data driven approach to the regular reporting, key metrics/KPIs
  • Monitor weekly, monthly, quarterly review metrics, sharing insights on performance and escalating for interventions where requiredSupport the preparation, analysis and presentation of people metrics for review by the Manager, Business and People Analytics, other key HR and business stakeholders-
  • Support the master data principles for HR Data, defining blueprints for data management systems whilst ensuring the integrity, confidentiality and security of all datasets.
