Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Fibre Splicer to join our Community Fibre - Build team in London.

_What are we looking for?_
Are you a committed, hard-working and eager to learn individual? Then come join the Comex 2000 family

We are looking for an experienced Fibre Splicer to play a key role in splicing and testing on existing and new build networks in line with client specifications.

_What will you be doing?_
As a Fibre Splicer, your core responsibilities will be

Splicing
Fusion splicing (Fujikura 60s, 70s), live network splicing, hard splicing and patching
Build new splice points using joint closures and optical distribution frames

Testing

OTDR/ILM/PMD/CD, produce fibre characterisation reports, analyse trace results to troubleshoot faults
Read and understand Visio diagrams
