This role has a starting salary of £36,282 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.
We are very excited to be looking for a Contract Improvement Officer to join our team


The Contract Improvement Officer role works within the Contract Improvement Team, reporting to the Team Leader, within the Surrey County Council (SCC) Environmental, Transport & Infrastructure (ETI) Directive.


About the Role


The Contract Improvement Team supports SCC ETI to develop, document and adapt processes with a view to identify opportunities to improve ways of working, including where those processes relate to 3rd Party contracts and project delivery.

The Contract ImprovementOfficer will be assigned to manage specific projects, duties and tasks within the team.


There is a particular emphasis within SCC ETI on Social Value, Innovation and Sustainability and the team therefore we are also proud to champion the adoption of new innovative working practices, materials and technologies into SCC ETI processes that contributeto the pursuit of these important themes.


About You
In order to be considered for shortlisting, we would love to hear about your;

  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong time management, highly organised and working well under pressure
  • To be able to efficiently investigate, research, analyse data and then present the findings to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills with proven outcomes on the set deliverables on time, quality, cost
  • To demonstrate the ability to design, document and implement of processes and process improvements, including engaging of stakeholders for their input and adoption
  • Strong IT skills including the Microsoft Office suite.
