Main responsibilities, tasks and duties:


  • Providing first line support to end users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Escalating to, and working with other members of the IT team to resolve more complex issues.
  • Supporting a variety of software packages.
  • Performing hardware upgrades and repairs, such as laptop memory and hard drive replacements.
  • Conducting regular stock takes to ensure an adequate supply of hardware is available at all office locations.

Skills required:


  • Prior experience of end user IT support or proof of IT related education/study.
  • Good knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating system


  • Experience supporting hardware

  • Desktop PCs, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, Mobiles
  • Must be organised and be able to work methodically and under own initiative.
  • Possess a full clean UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills:


  • Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP)
Basic knowledge of Windows Server Operating system (2012R2-2019)
Experience working for a Professional Services organisation.
Experience supporting the major Accountancy Software packages.
