The role:


As a result of a recent service redesign, an opportunity has arisen for a Financial Assistant, suited to someone with an interest or background in finance and administration and wanting to support the work of a busy office in the homelessness and housing advice service.


Your key role will be to support the Service Manager and Quality Assurance and Systems Officer with management of budgets, budget reporting and collation of general management information.

You will process invoices, income and expenditure and order goods and services using the SAP system.


You will support the collation of responses in relation to Freedom of Information and other requests for information by the council, MPs or government departments.


You will support the homelessness reception and provide general administrative support when required to ensure the resilience of the office is maintained.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
