We are a busy private psychology service working within the field of adult mental health. Situated in central Aberdeen, we service Grampian and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Assistant Psychologist to join our service.


Responsibilities:

• Under supervision by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
• Under supervision by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist develop and implement individualised psychological formulations treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Conduct clinical research studies and contribute to the field of psychology
• Work with adults with various mental health conditions
• Stay updated on the latest research and treatment methods in psychology
• Contribute to service development
• Produce clinical reports and letters to a high standard
• Keep comprehensive patient records
• Contribute to administrative task associated with running the service

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
• Right to work in the UK
• Qualify for membership of the PVG scheme
• Experience working with people with mental health challenges
• Knowledge of psychological models and evidence based interventions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent problem solving and organisations skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Commitment to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology

Salary:
£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
