Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Team Manager to work within Southampton Council's Corporate Parenting Team.

Job Purpose

To champion good practice and positive outcomes for children and young people by continually driving improvements and holding teams and practitioners to account
To promote and lead stable teams and services through developing a strong performance culture of learning and excellence
To ensure that interventions are purposeful and make a difference through high quality assessments, plans and reviews which drive timely decisionmaking for children
To model and support collaborative systemic practice that builds strong effective relationships with key partners and enables needs to meet at the right level and right time against the core strategic priorities for children in Southampton
To engender a solutions focused, enabling and restorative practice approach that empowers staff, promotes innovation and builds resilient families and communities
To take responsibility and ownership for managing within financial envelope and regulations, working with the team and service continuously to identify opportunities to work more efficiently and adhere to the core offer of support
To operate with managers across the Council to ensure efficient and effective customer focused ways of working that embraces flexible IT solutions
