Part-time - 29 hours per week


We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 2 Assistant Administrator to join our Adult North Admin Hub, based at Cavell Centre, Edith Cavell Healthcare Campus, Bretton Gate, Bretton, Peterborough, PE3 9GZ.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative service across the Admin Team at Cavell Centre.


Duties will include typing letters, summaries and reports, providing excellent customer service by providing a professional and efficient service to service users, carers and staff in person or on the telephone.

Data entry to relevant clinical systems.


Dealing with post, photocopying, arranging room bookings, providing cash office facilities and providing cover for members of the admin team in their absence and assist with their workloads as necessary.

Ensuring good customer service by providing a professional and effective service by dealing with queries from service users, carers or staff in person or on the telephone.

Take accurate messages and ensure these are passed on to the appropriate people.

Organise appointments and transport for clinics as directed.

Carry out office duties, such as dealing with post and photocopying; be
responsible for document filing and ensure that the relevant records are organised, accessible and up to date.

Monitor and maintain the departments admin stocks.

Arrange meetings as and when required.

Accurately input data onto relevant electronic system, in a timely manner in line with standard operating procedures.
