Simpson Judge are currently working on an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager in the public sector.


The Finance Manager is responsible for:

  • Providing an efficient and accurate finance and accounting service which includes line management of the Finance Assistant, Pupil Premium Income and Expenditure,
  • 3rd Party Contract Management,
  • Lettings and Income generation.
  • To provide timely reports in support budget management & reporting, data analysis, payroll administration, lettings, ESFA submission of returns and reconciliations.

Personal Qualities

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Finance qualification, AAT or similar
  • GCSE C or above in English and Mathematics
  • Experience in financial management
  • Operation of financial management systems
  • Budget Monitoring
  • Knowledge of managing 3rd party supplier relationships.
