Paraplanner - £40k - £45k - Near Leatherhead (Surrey) - Boutique IFA Firm - Mix of WFH and office based

My client, who I have placed staff with are a boutique independent wealth planning practice with satellite offices across the UK who have been operating for over 10 years.

They have an excellent reputation providing the highest levels of financial adviceto HNW private clients who are City professionals, retirees, accumulators and families.

An average client has £400k - £500k of investable assets, but the highest net worth clients have £1m+.

I am speaking directly to the MD. Business is busier than ever and they are gaining plenty of new business via recommendation and referral. But following a recent small acquisition of clients from a retiring adviser they are flushed with business.

A largeproportion of the advice they are giving is across Pensions, Investments, Estate Planning, Will & Trusts, IHT and some protection work.

Their highest net worth clients do get involved more complex products and wealth structuring.

My client has no intentionsof ever being acquired by a large asset stripping wealth management firm, or joining a large network of wealth management firms where processes are controlled by a centralised function and all day-to-day autonomy to run the business is taken away.

My clientbelieve in truly independent advice and acting as a standalone business, they believe this is in the best interest of their clients.

As a result of this ongoing success, a brand-new vacancy has been created by the MD for a Paraplanner who ideally has their level 4 diploma or is on their way to passing their final exams.

You will be working specifically for the MD and supporting one otherAdviser. You will be conducting end to end paraplanning i.e.

drafting templated suitability reports, product research, doing a variety of calculations and aiding with ad hoc admin and occasionally attending meetings with the advisers to aid your development.

Full study will be given if you are undertaking your final exams. My client will consider a Paraplanner from either a whole of market advice firm or a restricted advice firm.
