Day Centre Support Worker - London, United Kingdom - Person Centred Care Homes

- Are you a caring individual with a caring nature who is prepared to take time to understand and support people to enhance their lives and promote their wellbeing?
- Would you like to support and lead on various activities like walking, cycling, bowling, sports, arts and crafts, music sessions, horse riding, swimming etc.?
- Do you have experience as a support worker and would like to work Monday to Friday with your evenings and weekends free (Parttime opportunities may also be available)?
You should have:
- Full UK Driving License (Necessary)
- Past experience in a day care or residential support worker role, in a care environment
- Minimum of a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care
- Knowledge of autism and learning difficulties
- Ability to, at times, deal with challenging behaviour
- To be able to clearly speak and write in English
- Ideally possess a mobile DBS certificate
- Ideally possess a UK full driving licence and ability to drive a mini bus (Not Essential)
Salary:
£9.50-£10.50 per hour
