Your commitment and hard work will make a positive impact on the well-being of their students every single day.Responsibilities of Kitchen Assistant / Cleaner:
- Assist the kitchen staff in meal preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Support the team in setting up serving stations, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a pristine and safe environment.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with dish washing and organising inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, following proper procedures for handling and storing food.
- Cleaning classrooms, hall and toilets after you are finished in the kitchen
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Kitchen Assistant / School Cleaner in a school is preferred, but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills to maintain a clean and orderly kitchen area.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.

Hours:
(27 hours per week)
- Kitchen duties 11 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday
- Cleaning 2pm onwards (12 hours a week) Monday to Friday
Job Types:
Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Salary:
£13.00-£14.00 per hour
