Description

A unique gin and cocktail bar in HemelHempstead's picturesque old high street is looking to recruit a Bar Supervisor on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the owners, you will be responsible for overseeing the running of the bar and leading a team of bartenders.

Daily tasks for the Bar Supervisor/Manager will include:
Overseeing opening and closing down procedures
Cashing up Managing staff rotas, including managing sickness and holidays
Training of new staff
Serving a range of drink options including craft cocktails
Ensuring that the whole bar is kept clean and tidy at all times

Requirements:

Team Leader / Supervisory or Management experience
A strong work ethic, someone who will care about the business as if it were their own
A creative flair - mixology skills are not needed as full training will be given but we require someone who wants to learn the art of mixology - premium craft cocktails are what the bar is known for

Hours of work:
Thursdays 4pm-11.30pm
Fridays 4pm - 1am
Saturdays 2.30pm-1am
Sundays 12pm-9.30pm

As a business, they provide solid in house training, however, to advance your mixology skills, they also pay for mixology courses at the UK's leading bartender school.

You will be joining an independent business who have just opened their second bar in St Albans, therefore the position is suited to someone looking for potential progression as the business grows further.
