As Power BI Analystyou will join a friendly and collaborative Business Intelligence team with a remit including:


  • Preparation and development of key business intelligence to enable efficient, effective and commercially focussed business performance reporting
  • Researching the internal reporting requirements for a variety of stakeholders across all areas of the business and delivering reports to meet their needs.
  • Designing robust controls to ensure the accuracy of the data captured and presented.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure business reporting requirements are delivered in an efficient and costeffective manner
  • Preparation of commercially focussed KPI analysis for Senior Operational Managers, BI Manager and the Head of BI to drive performance improvement
  • Preparation of regular period performance Business Intelligence including the consolidation of reporting packs required to support Board and operational management meetings
  • Preempting future BI reporting changes and continuously developing BI reports to meet evolving business demand
  • Ensuring optimum utilisation of the reporting capabilities of Power BI
  • KPI analysis
  • Project reporting and customer analysis
  • Conversion rate and sustainment reporting
  • Caseload analysis
  • Daily Flash reporting
  • Automation of reports
  • Using SQL and Power BI to create modern and effective MI dashboards

Applicants will have previous experience in a Power BI Analyst role with with prior experience of connecting multiple data sources to a Data warehouse.

You will have advanced Visual Basic skills as well as advanced MS Excel spreadsheet skills (Pivots, macrosand look-ups).

You will be familiar with dealing with high volumes of data, will have excellent attention to detail/accuracy and will be capable of developing informative Business Intelligence that meets the needs of a broad target audience.

You will be ableto quickly understand and follow complex systems and procedures, will have a proactive 'can do' attitude and will have the gravitas and personality and credibility required to build strong internal and external professional.
