Description

International Group specializing in Fieldwork Market Research Services for the life sciences and healthcare industries, is looking for a
French speaking Country Manager for its UK subsidiary.

In direct collaboration with the group administrative team and with the other affiliate directors, your role will consist of piloting and developing the local activity on the UK marketas well as managing a small team.

The Country Manager will organize, coordinate, and control the different actions and field suppliers with the objective of quality and respect to all timelines.

The Country Manager will report to the Managing Director.

The role can be office based, hybrid or remote but is London based.


ROLE OF THE COUNTRY MANAGER:


Business Development:

  • Creating and participating in commercial strategy
  • Prospecting for new clients
  • Establishing marketing and commercial actions
  • Developing and followingup client portfolio
  • Responding to RFQs: Evaluation of the feasibility of projects and drafting of proposals
  • Maintaining and developing an image of quality and rigour among clients

Development of suppliers and partners:

  • Managing and reinforcing a network of freelance interviewers / moderators
  • Managing local suppliers (recruiters, translation agencies, viewing room facilities ) and respecting the project budget

Management:

  • Responsible for a small multitask team of 510 individuals (Fieldwork manager, project managers, assistant ) that will increase in the very near future
  • Manage the recruitment and training of new team members
  • Identifying training needs
  • Managing P&L
  • Liaising with the local accounting firm and other local administrative entities when necessary
  • Reporting to the Head Office

PROFILE OF THE COUNTRY MANAGER:


  • Fluent in French and English with strong communication skills
  • Previous experience in collection and/or analysis of data designated for the market research industry
  • Knowledge of the medical or healthcare industry is a real plus
  • Previous management experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Autonomous with an entrepreneur spirit
  • Selfstarter and ambitious to drive growth within a group in rapid development

SALARY:


  • Between £60k and £65k according to skills and experience
  • Bonus
