Are you passionate about packaging development and execution? Do you thrive in a role that demands versatility and attention to detail? We're seeking a Packaging Technologist 12 month FTC to join our dynamic team.

This role is multifaceted, encompassing Supply Chain, Innovation, Technical Support, Sales, and Project Management.

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

Responsibilities:


  • Take ownership of endtoend packaging creation, fostering relationships with manufacturing and printing partners globally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and factories to finalise project scopes.
  • Liaise with the Head of Procurement on B Corp initiatives.
  • Manage packaging die lines across all pack formats, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Maintain a comprehensive packaging database, ensuring accurate and timely collection of data.
  • Drive sustainability and packaging innovation initiatives, including recyclability and reduction efforts.
  • Understand retailer requirements and ensure packaging meets shelf specifications.
  • Assist the Innovation team in developing the 35year pipeline, owning packaging requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Technical team to review and update packaging specifications.
  • Provide data support to the Sales team for retailer packaging submissions.
  • Assist Supply Chain with nonregulatory packaging submissions.
  • Coordinate mockup development and approval processes.
  • Support the Head of Procurement in onboarding new packaging suppliers.
  • Lead packaging process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Generate key reports for internal use, tracking progress and timelines of packaging development activities.

You:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads.
  • University degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Previous experience as a Packaging Technologist.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Continuous learning mindset and effective communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen with a focus on profitability.
  • Creative and innovative thinking abilities.
  • Understanding of packaging development processes in the FMCG industry.
  • Analytical skills to derive solutions for productrelated challenges.
