Aatom Recruitment has an exciting opportunity on behalf of a client for a Java Developer to work on a permanent full-time basis.

Client located

  • Head Officebased in Solihull, West Midlands within close proximity to Birmingham International Airport, and with excellent road and rail links to all parts of the UK.
Hybrid working ideally 1 day per week in office, although will accept alternate weeks to support sprint planning.


Mission:


This is a fantastic opportunity to work with the newest versions of various tech including Docker, Spring boot, ISTIO, EKS and ECI.


Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement solutions using the newest version Docker, Springboot, ISTIO, EKS, ECI and Kubernetes technology
  • Be part of an open, collaborative Agile Scrum team including engagement with and contribution to scrum events
  • Produce high quality program code and specifications
  • Support system integration testing including input into test planning.
  • Produce commercially effective written communication
  • Proactive identification and implementation of service improvements.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrations with external systems
  • Established experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Maven
  • Knowledge of Git and SQL
  • Experience within an Agile Scrum environment
  • Fullstack development experience
  • Familiarity with CI or CD
  • Understanding of front end development
  • JavaScript
  • Liquibase
  • MS-SQL Server
  • Exposure to financial services systems
