About us:
At the Centre for Rheumatology, we have a highly dynamic and evolving group focusing on the development of new therapies for autoimmune fibrosis.
Our strengths are access to primary cells and tissues from patients, experience in in vitro model systems and strong links to pharmaceutical and biotechnology which support cutting edge approaches to novel therapies.
About the role:
The Research Assistant will be progressing a study of a novel therapeutic peptide and will use primary cell cultures from patients to determine the signalling pathway induced by the therapeutic, as well as the nature of the cell surface receptor involved in the drug's effects.

About you:
Proven knowledge and competence in tissue culture and qPCR is also essential.
