We are currently recruiting an HR administrator. This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a busy HR department. Modern City centre office and the chance to be part of a great team.

The HR Assistant's role is to provide a 'right first time' people related administration service to managers and colleagues across the business.

Providing advice around day-to-day HR activities, including pay and employee benefits, absence management and otherHR policies and procedures. The role supports HR and management on a wide variety of people related topics and projects and initiatives.
Main responsibilities

  • Answering queries, complete onboarding tasks, chase references, draft contracts and day one letters.
  • Provide a first line support to colleagues and managers. Effectively handling queries and providing 'right first time' information to internal and external customers.
  • Arrange and support formal HR meetings, such as grievances, disciplinary meetings, and formal absence meetings. Support will include taking minutes of the meeting and drafting associated correspondence with the aid of letter templates.
  • To provide a quality administrative service in line with SLAs and set deadlines for all HR processes throughout the employment cycle including starters, leavers, changes to terms and conditions, probationary periods, absence (including unpaid leave), thepay award, the performance review process and other HR related activities.
  • Provide consistency and accuracy in relation to payroll administration. Keeping records up to date, working closely with our finance colleagues to ensure any queries are dealt with efficiently, escalating where necessary to the best person or team to dealwith them.
  • Provide support to key HR meetings, this will include making the arrangements, agenda circulation and taking notes in the meeting.
  • Assist with the administration of the pension and benefits schemes and the distribution of relevant documents internally to colleagues, including the value recognition scheme.
