STORES CONTROLLER - LEIGHTON BUZZARD - circa £30,00pa

The Company

Based in Leighton Buzzard, our client is a well established market leader supplying high quality machinery to the food processing industry.

With a reputation for excellent customer service, the company is experiencing continuous growth and now has this outstanding opportunity for a suitably experienced and proactive individual to join its busy Spare Parts Department.

The Role

This Stores Controller position is a hands-on role involving the processing of parts orders via the company's computerised stock control system and physically picking, packing and despatching of spare parts to various destinations within the UK and Europe.

Strong communication and organisation capabilities are required together with a detail oriented working style as responsibilities will include assisting customers to identify parts they require, taking and processing customer orders from initial contact through to despatch of goods.

Interaction with other departments will also be involved with responsibility for sending parts to site for service and repair work.

The carrying out of regular stock checks will also be required.

Also involved is assisting the Warehouse Manager where required so the ability and willingness to operate a fork truck is required and, with training, to obtain a Fork Truck Licence.
