Description

A large multi-disciplined construction consultancy with a national presence and architectural arm to their business are looking to appoint an experienced Principal Designer / CDM Consultant to work out of their Reading offices.

A fantastic opportunity for a CDM professional to work for a close nit, family feel team of likeminded professionals on some high end, high value construction projects from refurb to new build.

Sectors include housing, commercial and industrial units aroundthe Reading and South East areas.

The role of the Principal Designer / CDM Consultant
As the successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant your duties will include:

Working as Client Advisor and Principal Designer Advisor.
Attending Design Team Meetings.
Preparing Hazard Identification and Risk Registers.
Preparing the Pre-Construction Information.
Approving Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans
Involved in preparing the Health and Safety Files.
The Successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant

The Successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant should hold the following:

NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate.
IOSH Membership
Minimum 2 years experience assuming a similar role
Member of The Association for Project Safety preferred
