An exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join a major automotive company and join their innovative digital transformation team.

The Company

An amazing opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer to join the digital team of an automotive company and play a key role in building innovative digital products for internal and external use, and enhancing their customer experience.

A new CEO took over in 2020 with the vision to launch a digital business, and also go fully electric, by 2024.

So far, digital functions they've created include data architecture, detail engineering, data operations, and cyber security.

This role will take ownership of data storage, data pipelines, and data layers of the digital products. You will also play a part in data requirements modelling and testing.

The role and responsibilities

Designing, creating, and maintaining data pipelines to support digital projects.
Build costeffective and scalable infrastructure to support the flow of the data pipeline
Testing own code through Unit Testing
