Role responsibilities

  • Parttime/Sessional, 4 days per week, Mon-Thurs.
  • Deliver on the GCSE Maths to a range of learners.
  • Maintain learning, assessment and teaching quality through critical selfreflection and collegial activity.
  • Promote the development of the Equal Opportunities Policy throughout all aspects of employment.
  • Maintain professional standards and expertise by undertaking relevant professional development.
  • Be responsible for the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children wherever applicable within the role.
  • To work proactively to forward the success and vision of the department.
  • Ensuring a high standard of achievement through engaging and interactive sessions.
  • Identifying and analysing student needs.

The person & qualifications

  • Experience delivering at FE.
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service
