The Role:


We have a great opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our Field Service team focusing on Customer Support activities.


  • The role will involve working individually and as part of a team on various customer sites around the UK
  • Midlands and North (mainly covering Birmingham, Sheffield, Leicester, Warrington, Manchester and Leeds)
  • Activities will include: Health Checks, servicing, supporting installation projects, warranty, breakdowns, operational/residential site cover.
  • A customer facing role, able to produce detailed reports related to Beumer sortation and material handling equipment.
  • Perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting, both in a planned and reactive environment.
  • Populating RAMS related to the work to be undertaken.
  • Ensure H&S standards are adhered to.

Qualifications:


Minimum Qualification:
Ideally have an electrical engineering background - ONC or Equivalent

  • CSCS
  • First Aid preferred
  • IOSH
  • IPAF
  • Forklift license

Experience & Skills:


  • Possess a high level of electrical / mechanical control knowledge and awareness.
  • You should have experience of or be able to quickly develop a working knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC, TIA Portal, Profibus, ASi-Bus networks.
  • A broad knowledge of Material Handling systems.
