Compliance Engineer
The Compliance Engineer will have the following responsibilities

Working with the engineering team throughout the product and safety approval process to ensure compliance and legislative requirements are met.
Keeping up to date with legislation changes and the impact any changes could have on our products
Coordinate compliance related activities (MD, LVD, EMC) for the transfer of new products into production.
Compile technical file information and produce UKCA & CE Declaration of Conformity for release.
Liaise with purchasers to maintain a database of compliance information for components.
Ensure documentation is regularly updated following changes to products.
To support Quality Assurance Manager with the maintenance of any accreditations.
Maintain the companies audit programme to meet the requirements of external accreditations.
Support development of a team of auditors across the entity.
Carry out audits and report findings including chasing up outstanding actions.
Ensure internal SOP's and checklists relating compliance are followed.

Compliance Engineer
The Compliance Engineer will require the following experience

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

Desirable:

Confident implementing or maintaining an audit system and auditing to a standards framework
Awareness of the product approval process
Ability to interpret international standards
Experience of working to the requirements of Low Voltage Directive, Machinery Directive, EMC Directive
