Description

The post holder will provide administrative and project support to the Involvement Team with a particular focus on the Carer workstream.

To provide cover for the Involvement Team Administrators during periods of leave/absence. The post holder will respond to queries regarding carers initiatives from staff, the public and partnership organisations. The post holder will undertake the secretarial functions for organising, administering, and facilitating the carers stakeholder groups.


The post holder will provide administrative and project support to meet the requirements of stage 2 of the Triangle of Care membership scheme.

To provide support for both face-to-face and online activity/events relating to Carers initiatives including a week long of timetabled events during annual national Carers Week.

The post holder will work with the Carers workstream lead(s) to oversee communications and promotion, including supporting completion of the quarterly Carers newsletter, drafting regularupdates for the internal and external websites and liaison with external organisations.

To ensure all enquiries are received in a courteous and efficient manner and passed on to the appropriate person promptly and accurately.


The post holder should be highly organised and capable of working within a busy and demanding environment, have excellent communication and listening skills, including maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

The post holder should also be capable of a high degree of initiative as well as having a flexible approach to departmental requirements.

There will be opportunities to support carers peer support activity, should this be appropriate.
