Some of the duties and responsibilities are:

  • Work efficiently and productively to ensure all food production areas are cleaned in accordance with cleaning schedule.
  • Cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, drains, tables, equipment, machinery, food containers.
  • Using detergents responsibly in the required concentrations.
  • Report any damage, issues or incidents to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Use chemicals and tools provided correctly and effectively to ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly.
  • Understand importance of hygiene in a food production environment and work to ensure environment is safe for producing food.
  • Work with Production team to ensure hygiene work is carried out with consideration for any continuing production activities.
  • Follow H&S instructions to keep yourself and the team safe and happy at work.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Able to carry out physical work for duration of working hours
  • Able to lift and move heavy equipment using correct methods
  • Comfortable working in wet/chilled environment (waterproof clothing provided)
  • Comfortable wearing PPE

Shifts for this role are as follows:

Day Shift:
Sunday - Friday, 10:00 - 18:30

Night Shift:
Sunday - Friday, 19:00 - 03:30
