THE COMPANY:

Harnham is in partnership with one of the largest executive search companies in the UK.

They have a global presence and are looking for a talented Head of Data to orchestrate a vital data migration project to aggregate data into a single cloud environment.


THE ROLE:


This is an exciting role for a data professional looking to have ownership of a greenfield data project and champion data literacy across a huge professional services company.

You will be the main point of contact for data-related queries and will heavilyengage with C-level members.


You will:

  • Conduct exploratory analysis of the current data landscape
  • Work closely with Clevel members to define a data strategy
  • Recommend BI and MI tools to improve business processes.
  • Build relationships across the business and understand where data can add value
  • Promote the use of data across the business
  • Recruit a team of talented data professionals to support the execution of data strategy
  • Aggregate data generated from the business into an Azure environment
  • Implement a reporting suite in Power BI

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Strong SQL
  • Azure (or any cloud)
  • Familiarity with Power BI
  • Team management and recruitment experience
  • Experience designing architectural frameworks in Azure (or any cloud)
  • Strong stakeholder management experience (ideally, Csuite)
  • Experience working in a greenfield data environment.
  • Experience working with professional services (law, recruitment, advisory, consultancy etc)
