Stirling Council's Land Services team are looking for 3 modern apprentices.


The successful applicants will either be based with the general grounds maintenance squads (2 posts) or within our Cemeteries team (1 post).

You will also experience other aspects of Land Services which will include street cleaning, grass cutting, play & maintenance and countryside operations, learning a variety of skills and techniques in the respective Land Service areas.


You should enjoy working outdoors and be prepared to work in all weather conditions and have a genuine interest grounds maintenance learning how to take care of Stirling Council's outdoor spaces including planting, strimming, hedge cutting and within cemeteries learn how to prepare for burials.


Requirements:


As a Modern Apprentice, you will work towards a Horticulture SCQF 5 qualification and be willing to undertake other training relevant to the role.

You will be 16-19 years old (or an official summer leaver 2023) and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm this role and have a commitment to learn.
