An opportunity has arisen for a full time Medical Secretary to join the Gainsborough Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) on a X12 month fixed term contract.

CMHT's mission is to provide high quality care and treatment to adults who live in and around Gainsborough who suffer with severe and enduring mental health issues.
As a Medical Secretary within the team you will play a pivotal part in ensuring we complete this mission, working alongside practitioners and other members of the team.

To provide efficient and effective medical secretarial support to Consultants and Junior Medical Staff and assist in the organisation of the Consultant's workload, utilising clinical systems and audio/copying typing as required.
The post holder will be expected to act on their own initiative and provide cross cover/support for other secretaries as necessary to facilitate effective service function.
To arrange outpatient appointments where required ensuring all referrals are appropriately actioned within the Trust's Outpatient and Waiting List policies.

The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively with other members of the CMHT (including the person with whom this post is shared).
They will provide high quality correspondence, respond to enquires from professionals, service users and carers in a polite and efficient manner and ensure the effective running of the out patients clinic.
