Open Minds was established in February 2008 and has rapidly developed in line with changes to modernise mental health services in North East Lincolnshire.

Since 2009 Open Minds has also provided the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service for North East Lincolnshire.

The service provides low and high intensity CBT interventions, EMDR, Couples Therapy for Depression, Counselling for Depression and Interpersonal Therapy.

The clinical team consists of High Intensity therapists, Counsellors, Interpersonal Therapists and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.

The management team consists of Senior PWPs, a Long Term Conditions Lead, Senior Counsellor, Team Managers, Senior CBT therapists, Clinical Lead and Service Manager.

Open Minds Long Term Conditions service has been well established since 2012 and an Employment Advisor team that launched in March 2019.
