We have a great opportunity for a Day shift Warehouse Operative to join our friendly and successful Team on a permanent basis.
We are a family run specialist Warehousing & Distribution Company based in Totton, Southampton.Forklift experience would be an advantage; however we offer fully accredited external Pivot Forklift training for all successful applicants. Knowledge of working within a Warehouse or a similar environment is essential.
This role would best suit someone who has the desire to learn, coupled with a flexible attitude.
The ideal fit for this position will enjoy using their pro-active skills, as well as being a positive Team player.
Key day to day duties include;- Accurately picking ready for dispatch
- Insuring that all goods are stored in the right location safely
- Palletising stock
- Transporting goods via forklift efficiently and safely
- Be able to undertake manual handling
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in all areas of the Warehouse
- 40 hours per week.
Salary
- £12.00 per hour
- Regular Overtime x
- Sunday and Bank Holiday OT x 25 days holiday per year + Bank Holidays
