JOB DESCRIPTION - PRECAST DESIGN DETAILER

Company Background
Lynx Precast Ltd is a successful, privately owned manufacturing business established 10 years ago. It manufactures precast concrete flooring products for the UK construction and house building industry.

Due to continued growth in sales and diversification into new products we are looking to recruit a lively and driven Precast Design detailer to work with our established Design team at our offices in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Purpose of Role
Responsible for preparing technically accurate design drawings. Liaising with customers and industry professionals. Ensuring Customer orders are designed and delivered within required deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for completing detailed drawings and designs with Autocad based programs.
Detailed designs for confirmed orders.
Working with the design team.
Providing support to the sales team.
Liaising with clients and their appointed architects and engineers as part of the design and sales process.

Required Skills, Experience & Attributes

Motivated and organized, being a confident and clear communicator.
A team player, with a 'can do' approach.
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Ensuring designs are accurately prepared and returned within required timelines.
Confident with IT and proficient in the use of AutoCad and Microsoft office.
Experience of working within the precast concrete industry is preferred but not essential.

Package & Benefits:

This is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours Monday to Friday.

Salary is paid monthly and to be agreed, dependent upon experience / sector knowledge.

Auto enrolment to NEST Pension scheme.

Salary:
£negotiable plus access to profit share bonus scheme.
