Description

We are looking for two Team Leaders at our residential setting in Braintree, supporting a team of staff working and caring for up to 8 adults with learning and physical disabilities.

One position will be full time and 37.5 hours per week and the second position will be part time at 22.5 hours per week.

This role is to ensure sustainable, person centred care and support by developing and maintaining innovative plans of support which enhance the quality of life of residents within the Residential Home.

Team Leaders are responsible for supporting and deputising the Registered Manager and Deputy Managers including team development, managing and maintaining rota's, the supervision of support practitioners and setting high standards of care and support for the residents within the schemes.

You should be reliable and dependable, passionate for leading positive change and respectful of others.

Team leaders undertake a variety of care and support tasks which are defined by the service user including personal care, maintaining relationships with families and friends, pursuing opportunities for work and education, ensuring that the service user can access their chosen activities and pursue their own interests.

As part of a team, Team Leaders work closely with other members to develop and deliver high quality care standards so that the service users receive consistent high quality support at all times.

You will have a positive, empathetic and enabling outlook in delivering individualised support and care for the service users.

Representing the organisation in a variety of multi-disciplinary settings you will be expected to present yourself professionally at all times.
