About the Role:
As leading construction, refurbishment and maintenance specialists, we are looking for a Bid Writer that is eager to learn and develop.
As part of a busy and ambitious team, you will be required to produce innovative and compelling bid proposals for both new and existing clients.
You will be given real ownership over the bid process to make a direct impact on the success of our business, supporting a year-on-year growth in turnover.
Collaborating with Senior Managers, Directors and the wider business development team, the role will involve developing accurate and bespoke tender responses, that reflect the key drivers, objectives, and specifications of each client.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Researching and analysing tender documents, contract requirements and other relevant information.
- Draft, edit and review bid documents, including technical, financial, and commercial components.
- Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including operational leads, estimators, wider business development teams and suppliers.
- Support the bid team in all aspects of the bid process from initial concept through to contract award.
- Deliver complete written proposal responses to the Bid Manager against agreed deadlines.
- Develop and implement bid strategies, tactics and processes to ensure successful bids.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify new opportunities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the bid team.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure alignment of the bid with project planning and delivery.
