Our client are a leading business operating within the fuel sector in the South West.

They have an excellent opportunity for a Transport and Depot Coordinator to join their team and coordinate and assist with the logístical and operational side of the businessfunction.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career within logistics or operations.

The role involves:

Effective management of all stock in and out of the depot.
Accurate record keeping and administration such as order confirmations, incident reports, driver tachograph records and other operational records.
Liaising with internal teams such as sales and finance
Scheduling and routing of deliveries
Booking vehicles for inspections and repairs
Adhoc emergency deliveries on the companies Ranger vehicle
Exceptional communication skills
An excellent ability to multi task and prioritise workloads
Excellent time management
Strong admin skills and attention to detail
Be a problem solver that can think both proactively and when required reactively
Self motivated and able to work under own initiative
Analytical skills
A flexible approach to all tasks
Ability to think outside of the box
An excellent understanding and working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and Word
