Software Division Leader - Medical Devices IEC Cambridge


A growing Medical Devices organisation, based in Cambridge, are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to become their Software Division Leader and lead the team in the continued development of medical devices to IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 standards.

You will need to have worked on Medical Devices Software projects in the past and managed people.

Part of your role will be to develop existing members of the team and new starters, so past management experience is essential.


Apart from the Medical Devices Software experience, it is essential you have good practical experience with C++, C# or Java and other software tools.


You will be working on projects yourself, so this will be a hands-on leadership role rather than issuing work for other people.

So this is not suitable for someone who wants a management role so they no longer have to work on software development.

It is expected that you would hold a degree that has led you into a software engineering career within Medical Devices.
