Generate leads and cold-call prospective customers- Interrogate and research the market to identify potential customers
- Interact with Brand & Marketing Manager on enquiry development strategies.
- Develop opportunities within target markets and organisations
- Promote the Company's products/services
- Suggest strategies to successfully reach new business
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new trends
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company's products, the competition in the industry and it's positioning.
- Complete tenders and attend presentations as required
- Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
- Manage and respond to incoming enquiries
- Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Produce quotations and convert sales in line with required Company profit margins
- Drive to maximise revenue and profitability at all times
- Work with the Head of Group Sales to "cut a deal" by looking past company price lists for opportunities to maximise revenue
- Ensure all technical quotes are deliverable and technically achievable by running past the Head of Group Sales prior to sending to client
- Arrange and attend site visits
- Drive towards achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Logging and managing of all own sales enquiries and following the correct enquiry handling procedure
- Work with design team to create custom visuals for sales proposals
- Generate sales presentations and deliver
- Conduct a detailed handover of confirmed orders to the Project Management / Structure Solutions / Engineering team
- Maintain ongoing relationship with clients during the project process
- To report on "lost potential sales", giving indicative reasons why they didn't choose Mar-Key Group, feeding into the ongoing conversion strategy
- Liaise with wider Management team to ascertain operational capacity and timelines for potential orders.
- Conduct comprehensive handovers of converted orders to the Project delivery team.
- Provide aftersales support and gather customer feedback
- Maintain relationships with customers on an ongoing basis
- Nurture existing customer base to drive repeat business
- Upsell aftercare packages / maintenance visits where appropriate
- To work towards company growth in line with objectives outlined in the business strategy
- To provide support as necessary to the management team
Salary:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
