Description

Our client who is a well established manufacturing business are now seeking additional CNC Machinists to work a 39 hour week (days) plus overtime in their busy machine shop.

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the efficient operation of productionmachines producing high quality components following engineering drawings.

CNC Machinist - Key Tasks - CNC / Machining / Production / Engineering

Produce CNC Programmes
Setup and Operate the Machines
Knowledge of workshop practices
Report problems and record cycle times
Maintain the safe and efficient running of the machines
Working in line with the Company quality and Health and Safety policies

CNC Machinist - The Person - CNC / Machining / Production / Engineering

Preferably apprentice trained or hold a relevant mechanical engineering qualification
Able to part program
Good understanding of metal cutting techniques, choice of tooling, work holding, speeds and feeds etc.
Understand and follow routings and planning
