Equifindare supporting a Global Insurance Underwriter based in the City, by Bank Station who are hiring a Claims Operations Technician. You will report into the Head of Claims and join the UK claims team. The role is full time and of a 3and 2 hybrid nature.


The Role

  • The Claims Operations Technician will work in the UK claims team.
The role will be broad and varied and include the following duties:


  • Timely and accurate processing of UK claims transactions to include:
  • Review of incoming reserve and payment movements.
  • Correction/resolution of issues where transaction movements cannot be matched.
  • Liaising with Claims and Finance teams as necessary to solve problems.
  • Processing the claim movement entries on the internal system ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Claimant sanctions checking.
  • Acting as key contact/'goto' person for other teams (Claims Adjusters and Finance), attending regular quality review meetings and resolving/escalating questions and issues on claims processing raised by other teams.
  • Review and progression of nonmoving claims.
  • Production of management reports providing key operational statistics.
  • Coaching/sharing knowledge with other team members as required.
  • Adhoc tasks relating to operational processes.
